Show Mode

Show mode is a particular feature which locks out several buttons located in the theatre from controlling outlets or other circuits. Most notably, this disables the control switch located on House Right, and prohibits most button station from being able to adjust light fixtures if the board is controlling them.

How to turn on and off Show mode

Show mode exists as a button on the dashboard which can be toggled on or off to enable or disable the button stations around the venue. Other buttons on the dashboard will continue to function and be able to turn the lights on or off.

Button Station behavior during Show mode

During Show mode, none of the button stations around the venue will be able to turn on or off the lighting in their room. If a button is clicked when Show mode is active, depending on the version, either the top of the station or the button itself will pulse red, indicating that show mode is enabled.

IMPORTANT

Normal wall switches will continue to provide safe worklight in the event of an emergency or special circumstance. Only the white button stations will be locked out.

When show mode is enabled, all button controllers that are located within the box office and booth, will remain with full control and will NOT be disabled.
